You know it was actually kinda funny after I picked my name on here I realized that "Caoimhin" is a gaelic name like "Llyllewlyn"(I hoped i spelled that right...). And also I realized that I wasn't able to put a part of the cover of the album "In the Court of the Crimson King" as my avatar so I guess i had to use a celtic dragon as my avatar... Well anyway, I'm new here. I read all of O&M in about two days (well from when I started it which was when DCS had the filler art with Millie using tofu as fish bait... or was it before then I can't remember...) and I loved it, though I have never read Calvin and Hobbes which apparently is somewhat similar to it. I have read Opus(not Bloom County but the new strip that guy does) a few times. I listen to NPR sometimes, play D&D once in a while, am active in Boy Scouts, and just sit all day and night on the computer reading webcomics and at about 3:30AM start watching anime on Cartoon Network, and I like to read which I've been sorta neglecting at the moment. Well you know a little bit about me now and you would never know I was 14 going on 15 <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://definecynical.mancubus.net/forum ... iggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif' /><!--endemo--> (well except for the boyscouts thing... But of course you may have thought I was a scoutmaster). And my name on here is actually my real name translated into Irish Gaelic (If you can figure out my real name congrajulations).<br><br>I actually first discovered O&M from a link on a webcomic called Dominic Deegan. And as a person who likes high-brow humor (along with a British sense of humor... Or at least I think its British maybe halfway...maybe like Canadian... O and by the way that wasn't supposed to be an example... or maybe it is... I really don't know... No really its not) and the wacky insane type it caught my eye right away. You know I really relate to this comic sometimes I feel zanny like Millie and other times calm like Ozy. Also as having parents who are both liberal in political believes I have been brought up (so far) with the same believes. I may not get some of the jokes in O&M because of my age but I still find it funny. And I actually did get the grunge joke "It just SMELLS that way" which I thought was clever. I have also been bullied a few times I even got punched in the face in 5th grade. So I can relate to Ozy that way. Millie I just find funny, she has a short attention span (which actually reminds me of some people) and I think that when she has her stuffed animals (which in its self is funny because there are no human characters) with picket signs and stuff it just makes me laugh. Well anyway thats enough talking I hope to post more here (well not here but you get the point).

For some reason I thought It was Gaelic... I thought Gaelic referred to the language of the Scots, Welsh, and Irish as a whole with various differences and actual names within each language for that actual language. Celtic refers to anything that has to do with the Celts or now what you could call "tribes" i.e. the Irish, the Welsh, and the Scots (actually I think the Scots were originally the Pics?) you know like a "celtic knot" it wouldn't be called a "gaelic knot" would it? Or a "celtic bracelet". While the languages are all called "gaelic languages". Gaelic coming from the word Gaul(or is it Gal?) which is actually I think pronounced "Gael" therefor Gaelic meaning having to do with the Gauls.
