Do you enjoy stage/theatrical productions?

I made a poll over on DA, and decided to see what people would answer here as well.

"I enjoy theatre, and have seen at least 5 productions."

Hmm, let's see... Offhand, I can recall seeing these. I loved all of them.

[@Broadway]
Les Misérables
Hairspray

[@American Player's Theatre]
A Comedy of Errors
Henry V

[@Other]
Joseph and the Technicolor Dreamcoat
The Phantom of the Opera
Hamlet... with only two actors and two cellists.

I've never seen a single production.
Who sleeps shall awake, greeting the shadows from the sun
Who sleeps shall awake, looking through the window of our lives
Waiting for the moment to arrive...
Show us the silence in the rise,
So that we may someday understand...

Wow, not even for school? I wouldn't have thought it was even possible to go through the public school system and not be taken to a play of some kind.

I was once a techie for a play at school. Otherwise, never been to one. v0v not a bit fan, but really, I think I may try and see some when I have the means to actually go to one. Currently I am not really in the position to go to any.

I saw this one play at undergrad school and there were these people and they all came to visit this guy but when they got there they heard a gunshot and it turns out the host shot himself but missed but was unconscious and the guests don't know why but they're worried about being implicated so they lock themselves in the house until the host regains consciousness ignoring any need he may have for medical treatment or maybe one was a doctor I don't remember and they all start fighting and arguing and they grow as people and come to new understandings of their significant others and then the host wakes up and they're all relieved and then the play ends and they never tell you why he shot himself or what.

I think it was called Rumors.

I was in drama in middle school but then dropped out. I ended up doing some tech work at one point and was in my senior play. Only recently I realized drama would have been fun if I did everything in an over exaggerated Mony Python esque english accent. That would have been awesome
