Someone tells you they have good news and bad news, which do you want to hear first?

The bad news. I'm a rip-the-bandage-off-all-at-once type of person.

Definitely the bad news. Save the best for last and all.
Who sleeps shall awake, greeting the shadows from the sun
Who sleeps shall awake, looking through the window of our lives
Waiting for the moment to arrive...
Show us the silence in the rise,
So that we may someday understand...

the good news, it makes the most sense.

but really I want to hear whichever news would come first, if they were both neutral. Like if one leads into the other, then I want to hear the first one. regardless of which is bad or good.

Screw the good news, it just lures you into a false sense of security

Screw the bad news, what you don't know won't hurt you.
