Mafia and Mobsters

What makes trench coats, and tommy guns so irresistible? I just love the 1930s era with the style of guns, cars, and just the style of fashion. Makes for some awesome sketches.

Consider watching Public Enemies if you haven't already. It's a long film, but fairly enjoyable.

Little known fact: I was a front runner in one of Al Capone's alcohol smuggling rings in Canada, under the alias Charlie.

My best friend lived in an apartment that supposedly was once owned by Al Capone. It is cleverly known as the Al Capone house.

You'd think that Al Capone wouldn't want to advertise his whereabouts, huh?

Unlike many other mobsters, Al Capone was not publicity shy at all.

Do not know if it's true, but somewhere I heard Al Capone's next door neighbor was the chief of police.

I'm not sure if he was the one going around calling the building that. I would think he would come up with a more creative name, like Caponer Land.

And underneath in small print it'll say, "Convicted for jaywalking, littering and other minor misdemeanors."
