Snow!
Moderator:Æron
Winter suddenly descended upon us today like an angry, cold-hearted windigo.
But rejoice! For today I do not have to descend The Hill to go to The Science Hall of Doom (red arrow)!

Not so useless. It serves to insulate the ground from extreme cold weather, if the snow arrives before the cold does.Bleh snow, its complete useless and makes driving dangerous.

Re: Snow!
So snow actually has a use, planet-health-wise. I didn't really know that. I always thought snow just acted like rain in terms of geology.

Re: Snow!
3 degrees here, with a wind chill of -30something.
Very cold. Still, everyone wears light jackets/hoodies. Big heavy jackets are only for skiing/snowboarding, nub.
I blame the altitude.

Wishing it would snow here. It's 14 degrees and windy in the middle of December...AND THERE'S NO pantsless SNOW. I hate New Mexico.
Re: Snow!
Houston actually got snow this past Friday. For the 2nd year in a row!
Who sleeps shall awake, greeting the shadows from the sun
Who sleeps shall awake, looking through the window of our lives
Waiting for the moment to arrive...
Show us the silence in the rise,
So that we may someday understand...

Re: Snow!
Because I'm near the coast, I've still got rain. Lots and lots and lots of rain. We did get a little snow, but whatever was left just turned to slush today.
Re: Snow!
I was cheated out of snow again this year. They said conditions where perfect for snow and gave it a 70% chance. I wished it would have snowed 'cause the previous night I stood up all night working on a campaign commercial (Due to my incompetent group) and I thought this would actually give chance to sleep for once. I crashed out all day the next day.
Re: Snow!
I got eight inches last night. Also what's snow?We got four inches three days ago.
