Love is like a potato

Unlike a flower that lives short and fast and will eventually wither and die, a potato will only grow with time, literally. If left uncared for alone it will only reach out for you in a way that makes you notice it.

Perhaps they aren't as pretty as a flower, but they are much more practical. Potatoes aren't stuck in their place, they can be savory or sweet, an appetiser or a main course. You can even make a drink out of them to get a slight buzz. They come in a huge variety of ways to best fit your tastes.

Potatos are artistic and a fine tool for the creative individual. You can cut them up into shapes and paint or you can even make a battery out of these unassuming tubers. These things are really that impressive.

Potatoes may look dull and cheap, but whereas with a flower you know pretty much what you're getting into the simple potato can surprise and leave you wanting more.

Yes, potatoes really are <3

Potatoes are great, and that is a great potato.

Also, simply adore your coffee/tea jars Jack. (Was hoping to see a Jackflection but I can't make one out.)

Jack, I love you, and I'm going to make a whole plate of mashed potatoes in your honour.

I agree, love is like a potato.

Suddenly, you're in Ireland, and it's 1845.

I don't think I was in range. Even if I was it'd be too small to make out.

Guess there's nothing left to do but sing, dance and drink Guinness then. It's amazing how little the Irish lifestyle has changed over the centuries.
