Okay first of all, isn't that just a LITTLE insulting to overweight people? I'd imagine it's not too long before a bunch of fat people revolt against them.
:?
Second of all, I LOVE meat and if anything, I'm underweight, I'm around 105, so how does not eating meat make you thinner? HELLO, SCIENCE PEOPLE!
I mean if they're trying to recruit overweight people to their side, this isn't the way to do it...

There was a study (I think someone posted it on this very forum) which showed that meat-eaters did not, on average, have a greater fat or caloric intake than vegetarians. Bloody vegetarians.

vegeterian are in averange fatter than normal food eater. THe mainreason is that meat "fills" the stomach while salat... you can eat tones of them. More "dangerous" are sugar (chokolade...) and fat (french fries). Normaly people can't eat much meat at once (without getting sick of cholesterine ;) )

Hardly any vegetarian subsists on a diet of only salad. There is other, more filling, gastronomic grub that isn't meat. It also depends on the person. I personally get a sensation of being full very easily so don't eat much in any sitting.

I'd also challenge what you call 'normal food eater' but will probably be rebutted by almost everyone else here.

Too bad PETA can't follow up with "Man the Harpoons".

I'm 110. But like... since I'm so short, it's really like weighing 130 to me. Even though I'm only 15 lbs away from being underweight.
Guess I'll have to go in the bathroom and throw up more and then eat grass ):

All PETA cares about is attention. It doesn't matter if its positive or negative attention. As long as people are talking about what they have done they are happy.

It must be a lot of fun to be PETA's marketing department. You get to screw around making goofy stuff like this and they pay you for it. Bonus points if they're consultants because it means not having to be around any actual PETA employees much.

I' still unsure of what to feel about PETA. It's good that they're working for animals rights. But I think their ads are becoming a little too over the edge.

He's right, people in Melbourne go to Sydney to get dental work done.
