Pogo book to be released in October

Anyone else pre-ordering this one? I haven't seen very many of the strips and with O&M coming to an end, this sounds like a good series of strips to fill in the gap :)

Pogo collections have been way too hard to find. My one regret about this one is that it's just Sundays.

Hmm, this one? Says it's "Pogo: The Complete Daily & Sunday Comic Strips, Vol. 1: Through the Wild Blue Wonder (Hardcover)", Sundays and daily's.

Hmmmmh. I remember reading the first Peanuts one. It wasn't anything like a normal comic strip collection; they may indeed have had all the daily strips through a certain year, but a lot of them were strewn across a small number of pages in an insanely tiny size, like they had wallpapered a room with them and then taken a photo. There was a lot more space devoted to commentary and the like.

But what would one expect from a collection the size of a Garfield book? Ten years of Calvin and Hobbes printed at a reasonable size took up three large volumes.
