I think I'm in love with a gay guy.

A place to talk about anything (that doesn't belong in the other forums).

Except for the Westboro Baptist Church but thats probably because they got hit on by one too many Australian comedy news show interviewers.
I actually get that reference.

On the one hand he has never shown any blatantly homosexual inclinations, but then again he's in his early 20s and really likes Britney Spears.
Given your own tastes in music, that sounds like enough of a reason to reject him already, sexual orientation notwithstanding.

I don't understand the aversion to just asking "What's your sexual orientation?" I mean, sure, it's a social faux-pas, but it doesn't hurt and would eliminate all that awkward guessing.

Juuuust a suggestion.

I wouldn't say musical taste or sweetness have anything to do with sexual orientation. I myself listen to mostly soft rock and pop, and I'm told I'm very sweet (off the internet that is), but I'm in no way gay. I know other people who fit this description as well and none of them are gay; one in fact has a wife and kid.

If that's all you're going by, then it's by no means an indicator of his sexuality. He may be gay, he may not be. However, I don't know him, and I don't know his mannerisms or anything, so I'm just judging as best I can from what you've said.
