My prelims round of poetry was amazing. In that almost everyone else SUCKED.

Don't you just love it when you think you're not doing that great and it just turns out you have really high standards?

5th place on Poetry.

3rd place in Dramatic Interp.

Overall 5th out of 50 and 3rd out of 52, respectively.
Who sleeps shall awake, greeting the shadows from the sun

gforce422 is awesome because:
-He made the absolute nicest comments about me in the other topic. I didn't respond to them yet, because I suck, but they are greatly appreciated! =D
-I would say he would also be a good runner up as one of the nicest people alive.
-He joined the IRC sometimes. But not enough, I say! Chat moar =D
-He is evidently only 18 year old but he could easily pass for 25. =D
-He is a drummer like *I* am and this in itself is cool.

And I'm now 95% sure I am qualified for state championships in Dramatic Interp because of my 3rd place finish.

All poems are songs lacking music, but I do like a good reading.

Also, I find that poems to me are better heard allowed than read from some internet page...post a recording :wag:
