Christmas in Yellowstone

Ok...I normally don't watch nature shows eventhough I'm such a coyote freak but this Christmas in Yellowstone on our PBS network caught my eye. We were watching it mainly because my brother wanted to see the wolves. One of the first animals they showed was this red fox with its thick, winter coat hunting for mice and voles scurrying in tunnels hidden beneath the snow. I comfortable enough with my masculinity to admit watching that fox dive into the snow headfirst to get to his prey was just so freaking cute. When the narrator was talking about how they use their ears to pick up on the sounds of the rodents, it got me thinking bout this O&M strip from not too long ago:

Since foxes' already have such good hearing, I suspect Ms. Mudd could just bout hear a pin drop from clear across her house. To bring this to a close, yes it had a coyote in it so I was pleased.
