Call me an unsophisticated surrender monkey ("You're an unsophisticated surrender monkey, Mid"), but I thought "Johnny English" was one of the funniest movies I've seen in quite some time.

You've got to hand it to Rowen Atkenson (or however the heck you spell/pronounce his name)

Edit: Blazing Saddles owns, but I haven't seen it recently, so it doesn't count.

Every Kevin Smith movie there is, they're all great, especially Clerks.

Well, I too thought that Johnny English was pretty good. It's here on my hard drive..

Parodies are usually funny, and they are always able to do it cheaply too, ie, without the existence of bond to rip off, Johnny English would have been nothing, and impossible. So by that merit, I wold never nominate those kinds of film to be anything more than what they are, which is just 'Damn funny'
