According to other sources (dictionary.com, specifically), highjack is a valid variant of hijack. I didn't know that until just now. Interesting.
I don't accept dictionary.com as a valid dictionary, as explained in an earlier post.
Do you accept Merriam-Webster then?

I certainly don't, but that's just me being pedantic and British.

Merriam-Webster is an American dictionary, as is dictionary.com, and I don't usually trust American ones. They tend to say things like "aluminum".

Thats technically the correct american spelling. You might as well go around saying "Soylent Cookie is biscuits!"

Americans are stupid.
Look at who we voted for to be our president.
I wonder if it'll finally get it's own forum too. I've always wanted a place online where I can talk about O&M.

Madam, I may be stupid but in the morning I shall be smart and you'll still be ugly.

Just remember it was a Brit who first said something along those lines.

I will do. In that case: "Truth, liberty, justice, not wanting to pay the same taxes everybody else in the British Empire was already paying at much higher rates, we hold these truths to be self-evident."

Also, a personal favorite:

Madam, I may be stupid but in the morning I shall be smart and you'll still be ugly.
Some female MP - Winston, you are drunk.
Winston Churchill - And you madam are ugly, but in the morning I shall be sober.
