Viruses, etc.

There is a virus going around that hijacks an AIM user's profile and changes it to say "I can't believe I found [screen names]'s Picture here HAHAHA", with a link to a valid-sounding website (buddypicture.net, I think). Clicking on this link will bring the victim to a website where a Trojan Dropper (as identified by Symantec Antivirus Corporate Edition Server) will be transferred to the system, and the website will attempt to install an IE add-on. If you see this link in someone's profile, DO NOT CLICK IT!

Just doing my patriotic duty as a career computer technician and Microsoft Certified Professional, perhaps with enough warning this will be stopped.
Ahh.. I knew this group was alright. This is yet another way we are united here.

"I just wish Microsoft would quit selling anchors with a mandatory web browser attached." - Locke, "Is there no haven?"
