I like how in the show the planeters could never solve it on their own. Instead they spent 25 minuets less comercials failing and then call captian planet who takes care of everything in 2 minuets. Says something about teemwork and never giving up dosn't it? Oh yeah: and much to my surprise I think watter won.

You know, Ma-ti kind of got screwed on that deal. I mean... HEART. What does that even mean? He's already the weakest and most pathetic of the bunch (and he talks to monkeys), but then Gaia had to go give him HEART? The other Planeteers all got good stuff. FIRE- Conjure up fire and make things go boom. Fire was, without a doubt, the most kickass power. EARTH- Make big chasms spontaneously open up and fling rocks everywhere. That's pretty cool too. WATER- Make giant whirlpools and tidal waves. Not bad at all. WIND- Make big tornados and blow stuff around. Nothing to be ashamed of. But... HEART... That wasn't even one of the elements the ancient Greeks used to describe the world around them. Heart was used a total of one time each episode- to summon Captain Planet. The uselessness of Ma-ti's power was mostly his own fault though. I got the impression from the show that heart was some kind of mind control power or something that made everyone love each other (and contact other Planeteers, but that's beside the point). Those episodes could have been over as soon as they met the bad guys if Ma-ti had just used heart. That would make the bad guys quietly apologize, clean up their mess, and leave. Instead, he just sat in the corner whenever the other guys were fighting and either a) talking to his stupid monkey (if I were Wheeler, I would have set that thing on fire) or b) creating a nuisance for the other Planeteers by needing desperately to be rescued. The mention of the villains brings me to another point about the show: the bad guys were all morons with stupid names. Most villains have some kickass goal in mind for when they go wrecking stuff. World domination. Power. Wealth. Etcetera. These guys just seemed to like things being really dirty. For example, Dr. Blight. She's not going to let wealth or power stand in the way of her dreams of becoming a mad scientest. She's also always talking to that stupid computer, MAL. Get some real friends, or at least some assistants. But I digress. Fire.
