I'd say those furry-haters are ether taught by rumors and think they're evil and stuff, bullies, or being self-rightous.

The first I've heard about furry stuff was when this guy asked for others to share furry art links and posted an example which had Cragys' avatar guy on it with some other fox woman and a bunch of people said "Get out!" and stuff and I asked what's wrong with him wanting art links and they said stuff like "Because he's a furry and he'll jack off to them" and got onto "Furries are sick people who dress up in fursuits and have sex with each other" and I believed all this but thought these guys are being senseless and immature, who cares if these people do all this stuff, they're still people.
And the guy who asked for the art links was the one who got me into Ozy and Millie (not directly, he had a link and I thought it was his homepage so I thought he was DS for a while).
And he's not a bad guy, quite philisophical and stuff.

Anyways, I kept believing the furry hater definiton until a few weeks ago.
And this topic's to clear some things up a bit.

*Pant pant.*

EDIT: Look at the second posters' name!! Clicky.

Didn't the Beatles dress up as furries for the cover of the Magical Mystery Tour album? I don't actually own this album, i'm only asking if it's true.

Neato! Beatles in fursuits, what were their species?

I too thought that furry was more of a fetish than anything else, but then I started researching it, and it's really more akin to the anime fandom. I just wish more people saw it that way, sucks to be seen as a pervert thanks to the senseless constant yiffing of a few.

Hehe, true. I wouldn't put stickers on my tail, though, they'd stick to my fur

I never knew "furry" was fandom. I'd only heard the term used once, about a girl, and that was in a very perverted manner (although not the one discussed on this board). Let's just say, the way the guy used it, "Eat All Furries" would have a VERY different meaning. I never heard the term again until I got to this board, and I realize that I definately am part of the "furry" group.

Wait, the definition of furry is someone who likes anthro stuff right?
Or does it go further to making or roleplaying anthro stuff?

Going only slightly off topic, who knew being a DC member would help me with my homework? 'Anthropomorphism' is one of my vocab words for English. Isn't that convenient?

Very convenient indeed. Now you can use it as an excuse to push some O&M on the class. hehe

My 12th grade government teacher is now a huge O&M fan, apparently he uses the strips in class all the time, thanks to me
