what would you do if you were president?

A place to talk about anything (that doesn't belong in the other forums).

Would be good if fire was legal no matter what the weather/climate was.

I actually don't want to be president; I'd transfer my power to my firend Sean who shall be voted dictator. He promised me my dream position in the cabinet: Secretary of Human Evolution. It'd be my job to ensure only smart people breed and that morons, jocks, hicks, and people that shouldn't reproduce are sterelized. Basically I'm pool boy for the gene pool I'll lobby for extensive DNA research (stem-cell research included; I support it). The ordinary greenback is about to change. New 20-dollar bills have already been issued this year with, among other things, a peach color blended with the traditional green as well as a new copper color in the color-shifting ink. From what I believe I have heard, the other denominations will use different colors.

Yup... according to the site linked above, "Different colors will be used for different denominations" to aid people with poor vision to tell the different denominations apart. Yup, multi-colored U.S. currency is already on its way here.

I went to the bank the other day and got a few. *shrugs* I don't much care. Although the fact that German mony used to have calculous equations on it was prety cool.

wow... perhaps peoploe would take more interest in math/science if currency included it on it, or if any historical facts, or anything hat most people don't know but should.

Personally, i kinda wish that the US would switch to the Euro. I like that system, different sized and colored bills for different denomination. Plus, the coins are so much better. The only dissadvantage is no more $1 (actually 1 eu.) bill, and most of the US really likews the paper bills. Hence why the dollar coins never caught on.

Simpson and Ralph E. Hayes Jr. would have some disagreements in some areas... okay, a lot of disagreements, but they both have valid points and they're both not insulting each other (at least i think not, but then, i'm incredibally naiive when it comes to these things.) nobody's views are the objective truth; we don't know what the truth is.

To quote Spartacus "what are we, Romans?!" what he meant by that was "we don't want to sink to their level." [sarcasm]Wow, I think you took that a bit too far. I was just making humorous gross generalizations and stereotyping entire groups of humanity, because stereotypes are always 100% accurate and there are no exceptions ever. Geez, you didn't have to blow it all out of proportion.[/sarcasm]

I apologize to anyone who I may have offended, not by making generalizations, but by utilizing the over-used and generally beaten-to-death [sarcasm] tag. I apologize for not being original enough to think of something on my own (in case no one's picked up on it, I have kind of a bad sense of humor).

To wander back onto an earlier off-topic, I'll bet the idea of "money" would really take off if money had little messages on it like fortune cookie slips. That would be so cool.

What? "Pain and misfortune will plauge your pathetic soul for all of eternity"? It was something to that effect, if we're talking about the same thing here. Also, on the subject of fortune cookies, did you ever get a distress note in a cookie? A friend of mine got a fortune cookie that said "help get me out of here."
