Well, I just tried to look into whether I could edit anyone's usernames. Alas, no, I can't, but it appears I can remove avatars or photos, and update the Homepage, Location, Interests, and Signature fields if any of you wish.

I know some of you, especially newer members would like to have some data in your profile, so if you wish to have any of those fields entered, you're welcome to request it in PM or to message me.

One Word: Random

Also, I use the phrase "Like, dude!" a lot, and D00D seems more humorous to me.

Ok, so it was more than 1 word.

by Bendarr
In my case, my user name has a very long history. Basicly back in the late 70's I got involved in D&D. Bendarr was a name of a warrior type. Big, strong, average intelligence. he wasn't dumb but it seems that the Bendarr was sorta cursed. Fire was attracted to him. Wherever a Dragon was breathing fire, a Mage casting fireball, or a local meteor strike would happen. Chances are that Bendarr was at ground zero.

Rooster - I used to work on a chicken farm when I was about 10 and I got called Rooster...even though no one actually calls me that anymore, I still use it as my screen name.

Whatupwidat came from the fact that I always used to say "What up wid that?" to screwed up stuff.

I suck at naming stuff.

It all began when I started to play Worms 2. Initially I called my team "Paul's Team" but after a while I hit upon the alliterative name "Paul Power".

When I tried to play online, the Worms 2 server didn't like the space, so it renamed me "Paul.Power". I liked the sound of it, so I began to use it on Worms message boards and later on other boards.

For a while, Paul.Power competed with my other nickname, PRV (my initials), for supremacy, but it won through in the end and is now the nickname I use for most boards I currently post on.

Funnily enough, my username came about shortly before I truely found 'furry'. I've always had an affinity towards foxes, so that part came easily enough. "Child" was added because I feel the need to always hold onto my inner child. This is something I vowed to myself ages and ages ago, that I would always try to hold onto the wonder and awe that the world can inspire to a small child, like that of the ages between 2 and 4. It's a mentality towards life, and others, that I will not let go of easily. I just find it funny that I had my fur name before I even really knew of furry!

Heh, our usernames have much in common, FC. Well, the fox part obviously. (similar to what I said in the other thread but...) Originally born of a Simpson's (The show, not DCS) quote 6 years ago, "likeafox" had nothing to do with furryism. No, I didn't know anything about furry beforehand. I just liked how the phrase sounded and I did like foxes too. Since two or three years ago I've been automatically labelled a furry at times because of my name. I dislike when people consider the name "furry"-- it's just not what the name means. Not that furry is such a negative connotation. I've always just considered it to be so much simpler-- just a name, with no more implication of who I am than the name "Jason" has. Still, the name is something I identify with, having used it for so long.

My name is a character I had on a redwall group, I took the name Shad from some random otter gategaurd, then added otterdan as a last name because I was using it on other forums and Shad was taken on a lot of them.
