My screen name is a shorter version of my full name.
My real name has more letters than Ozy's full name.

I was setting up my ebay account and every name I could think of was taken. I typed in cougartiger as a joke and that became my ebay name!

Since then, I've used it for pretty much everything on the net. Besides, I like big cats!

RocketGirl.

Well...I'm a rabid and screaming sci-fi fan, but, uh, that's not where my name came from.
I have this ex, y'see...and, well, she had this thing for, well...lube. I don't know why. And her favorite was Astroglide™; again, don't ask me why, but she said, "Because it makes you boink like a rocket,"...only she didn't say "boink". I'm not sure what the forum rules are regarding swearing, so I'm cleaning that up a trifle...though there'z obviously no way to clean this story up much. Heh.

Anyway, I told this story to a friend who said to me, "What, so should I call you RocketGirl from now on?" and the name stuck.

I...usually tell people it's cuz I'm a sci-fi fan, tho. Heh. And I have the cutie mark to prove it:

My username doesn't refer to lube in any way. I feel inadequate.

The only possible response here is, "And well you should."

I mean, to say anything else would be to deny the obvious one-liner opening; you'd all think less of me if I said anything else.
