"Octan" was the name of the fictional gas station chain in Lego sets; I used the name in another forum where it seemed appropriate for my own reasons. It was only the second message board I ever registered for. Well, I use more than one alias (including one you've seen elsewhere), but I don't blame you for sticking with one. It's good for bonding. I did remember the Lego Octan shirts, but somehow I never caught on that it was <a href='http://members.cox.net/bhamilto1/topia/octan.htm' target='_blank'>fictional</a>.
