I take pride in being less incompetent at pushing rocks through a saw than my coworkers who make $5 more than I do and actually do less.

As a student, I am a hopeless slacker and a procrastinator of the worst kind. Literally, I don't finish papers until like 30 minutes before my classes. And I've been getting A's, B's, and C's in my classes. For the last eight or nine years. For doing absolutely bupkes. If only I could apply myself…

PS: Just as an example of what happens when I do focus, I once sat down and wrote twenty single-spaced pages in about a day.

but there's no better place to sit and chill than behind your own till (no rhyming intended), as it's your own space for the day!

By the way, choosing laziness is a clear sign of incompetence. Just in case we're in any way unclear about that.

Currently a student and a research technician. As for the student part I'm very competent but getting a little academically burnt-out. Luckily I should be through here at the end of this semester. For my work...well...I'm actually just considered a lowly lab assistant but I've pretty much been doing technician work since I've been there so I may be too competent for my current pay grade. That should change after graduation when I can be full time.

I'm a leader in my marching band, Boy Scout troop, engineering class project group, and several online forums, and I'm incompetent at leading all of them. My version of leading is yelling at people for having fun until they begrudgingly finish the work without my help. =/
