Maybe it's the traditional colouring or something but I like this better than the first.

It's also in a more realistic style...

Anyway, here's a quick and crappy doodle.

actually, I think that she is an IRL fox, that sees that Comrade's fox is in a fighting stance, and since she is a real fox she assumes that the picture is actually a photograph of a real fox, and that Comrade is posting self-photographs, and so she is asking him for tips on MMA because Comrade appears to be a martial artist (to her)

You should start RIGHT NOW! The best way to start your Mixed Martial Arts career is to run up to random people and beat them up. Preferably, you should have a friend with you to film it all. Send the video tape to the UFC and Kenneth Starr. Then just wait by your mailbox for the CHECKS TO START FLOODING IN! You'll need to pick a cool name, though, preferably something like Captain Sodomy. Also, MMA superstars pull in seven figures to start.

Good luck with your new career!

EDIT: Wait a sec. Nataliya is a girl's name, isn't it? There are no goddamn girls in MMA, you bitch. Stop posting and go make me a sandwich. Whore.

I have mixed feelings about the cell shading. It seems to not fit parts of each drawing.

Of course.

While it works on the body as a whole, it highlights the wrong parts of the faces and brings too much attention to insignificant parts, like the shadows, Conversely, this draws attention from the eyes and the mouth, which we all know are the two most expressive parts of the human face.

And before you say it, yes, I know they're foxes. but we're humans looking at these drawings, right? Unless if i'm some sort of robot.

I'd have to disagree. While I agree that maybe the shadows could be lightened a bit, I really think the shading works fine on the faces.
