Segovia's Art Work (w/ General Discussion ) Thread

Hello everybody. It's me and the moment I've been waiting for since I first joined Define Cynical. Before I joined I started doing sketches and comics strips of O&M. Now thanks to the help of datherman and doc sigma I could load my images. So here it goes.

This is one of my sketches of Millie. I fairly happy with it at the time but now her image has developed quite nicely.

Here's Ozy in what I call his standered pose. I'm not so happy on how he looks. I'm still struggling to improve his image.

[X]

This is the very first comic I drew with O&M together. I know it isn't the best but its a start. The strips and sketches I'm doing now are way better and look more like the real thing. To prove it here is a sketch I did yesterday.

[X]

The text may be hard to see so this is what it says.

Ozy: I'm starting to have serious withdraws about volunteering for the Greater Llewellynlland Space Program.

Millie: Hush now, Ozy. Prepare to become the first fox on Mars.

Some things I like to point out is that in the first sketch Millie mouth is smudged because some jerks at school were messing with it while I went to go get some water. In the last sketch it was the first time I tried the tail-wagging effect. I think it was a success. FYI I did a lot of these comics in either Spanish, Chemistry, or Lunch.

Thanks Chris. Your sketch is pretty good. I wish mine looked like that when I draw them quickly.

As I said before your quick millie sketches are pretty good. I didn't draw these quickly, but I did spend most of Spanish doing them. I must point out that there is a cost of doing such sketches. They have come to make me some what of a weirdo that draws characters that no one has heard of. Oh well, At least there is still a lot of people who love the sketches and think that they are whimsical and amusing. In fact that is how I met my friends Vincent and Michael.

(Googles "goldfish" and "card game")

Huh. I guess that wasn't supposed to be "Go Fish."

But "having withdraws" is less supported. "Having second thoughts" is more like it.

I was going to put that originally, but to me that seemed to simple to me. I really wanted it to sound like ozy and millie.

The word you're looking for might be "misgivings."

Spanish class, eh? That's where I always used to draw.
That which does not kill me, cripples me for life.

*waves a wing at Millie*

*wishes he had a tail long enough to wag like hers*

*also wishes he could wing-glomp her*
