These are some beginning designs for the main character of a graphic novel idea I'm working on. Only problem is, I have his whole life planned practically but I can't think of a name I like. So--suggestions, please!

Cameron is awesome because:
-Because he has an artistic style that is both complex and minimalist. This is profound!
-He once drew me as a roadrunner. It was an actual honest to god feral roadrunner, but a roadrunner nonetheless!
-He lives in Idaho among the wilderness and stuff and I envy him for that. 3:
-He is probably one of the most personable artists on here.
-I think he's the only one of us on here who drew a fanart that made it as a guest strip on O&M. This is an accomplishment!

Being an ex-otter fursona, I'd name him...

Gandolf [Already Taken]
...
Merlin [Already Taken]
...
How about...Verservius The Magnificent?

He's not a wizard. Although you might call him a prophet, in a looser sense of the word.
I was thinking something like Solidus (already taken.)

Furries? Are they the nutters that pretend to be animals and draw humans that look like animals? Christ, I sink my head into my paws... -Rooster

I tend to go with Welsh names for characters in fantasy settings, which I presume this is.

Halwyn, Cadell, Emrys, those sorts of names.

That's a good site for finding cool names, hope it helps :wag:

(1) Somehow I thought he'd have an H name. Not Harry; that would be too groanish. When I recalled that otters are mustelids, I thought of Hieronymus, possibly Mus for short.

(2) One genus of otters is Lontra, so I also thought of Lon.

Otter.
Who sleeps shall awake, greeting the shadows from the sun
Who sleeps shall awake, looking through the window of our lives
Waiting for the moment to arrive...
Show us the silence in the rise,
So that we may someday understand...

I've always been a fan of the name "Corbin".
