Yey, I'm tied for 4th!

Anyway, 9 is the best, slightly followed by 1, I say, 1.
See?

I liked em all, but Inev's was my favorite. Old school + originality.

In terms of pure artwork, I think 1 is the best -- good perspective, the characters are "in character", the colors are aptly chosen, and the costumes are a little bit surprising.

I'd give 9 second place -- the artwork is still fairly good, and the story is hilarious. The closing lines are a little bit out of character (I can't see Ozy responding with "I deduced that much" -- it just doesn't feel right.) I'd love to see dcsimpson pick it up as a guest strip though!

It's hard to pick my third place choice... the rest all have something going for them (2 is really cute, for example, and 6 is highly creative.) I think I'd put #3 in third, though, because it involves several characters and they all look good. Also because it took me a while to figure out if that was Millie dressed up as Felicia, or Felicia dressed up as Millie (etc.) I didn't figure it out until I noticed the characters with Jeremy and M. Mudd's heads were both too short... it was a really surprising concept, and well executed.

I had to stop and think whether I wanted to vote for Tavis or Foxchild.

Wow.. I was expecting the polls to be a lot more closely matched than that. Of course, it's still really early, and there are a LOT of people that participate here.

Oh, and yes, I picked Ozy's line to hint at his costume better, but at the moment I couldn't think of a more Sherlock Holmes-ish way for him to reply.

If you've done things right, people won't be sure if you've done anything at all.

Yeah, I think the "second choice" comics are going to get low votes.

This demonstrates part of the problem with "vote for your favorite" systems of government. If you could vote for your top 3, it'd be much more likely you'd get one you liked...

Think we need a recount? I thought I saw a suggestion for another voting method in the other thread..
