That explains the wedding invitations oh so long ago.

Addendum: Ms. Mudd looks weird without her glasses.

And back into the crapper. What happened here, DCS? Bad artwork and Ms. Mudd once again acting out of character. Millie is the only one who comes off good here!

I had thought that considering the last strip that DCS was pulling it out of the fire. Guess not.

I really wish DCS had just ended it without any resolution if this is the best she can come up with.

This story is like a train wreck for me: I don't want to watch but can't help it.

Is Ms. Mudd wearing contacts? If so then that could explain why she wasn't wearing glasses when she first met captin locke. (By the way, I finally know how to pronounce llewellyn's name. It's said like this Llew-ellen. I have proof!)

Jonathan, I think I remember that Ms. Mudd's eyesight didn't go bad until she got old.

Cougar, I don't really see that this is out of character for Ms. Mudd. Off-model a little, yes but out of character?

Although her expression in the last panel is implicating such implications that I cannot help but gape at the scope of those things implied.

Maybe her nose looks longer because her glasses aren't there to refract the light and make it look shorter than it was?

Well, yes. Since when is she OK with having a food fight at her wedding? Look at the wedding invite again.

Only with this story has DCS altered her personality so that she is more accepting of dragon rituals. I'm sorry but it's way too sudden for me. After the strip where they kiss for the first time, DCS actually dropped their realtionship altogether, very rarely showing them together. Then he throws this wedding together. It's not only sudden, it's being very sloppily done.

Instead of the pointless elementary school story, DCS should have concentrated on showing Ms. Mudd and Lew growing closer. It would have made her sudden acceptance of the food fight easier to swallow.

Look, I'm pretty old fashioned. I wanted this to be a nice romantic wedding. Instead, DCS is turning it into a farce which might be fine for some people but not for me. However, it IS DCS's strip not mine so no matter what, I do respect her doing this story however she wants.

It's just my opinion. I've already said when my drawing skills are up to par I'll create my own ending. I just wish DCS would take a step back and ask herself if this is really the best ending for such a great strip.

No. It's not that long in the wedding portrait DCS did for me. Considering the short time between this strip and the last one, DCS probably just rushed through it.

My mom said she looks more like a deer than a fox.
