I can sympathize on the "parents believing their kids to be the freaking Messiah" thing. It must be hell for educators to put up with 20 or more parents, or sets of parents, who each think their own kid is more important than the other 19.
On another note, because someone is bound to say it anyway, D.C. really stylized Ms. Sorkowitz in today's strip. I know he's been experimenting with a new style and all, but the last few months of a strip's existence seems to be the wrong time to make dramatic changes to character designs.

I've heard this rant thousands of times. my mom works as a special education teacher, and she can go off on an all-day rant about this.
Also Llewellyn is drugging the punch bowl with psychotropics. Toady it's "serum": tomorrow it's Snow Crash.

It is hell for educators. My mom endure it for 20 some odd years till she finally left it to be a college professor. I have to say I like this side of Ms. S. She should drink serum-spiked punch more often.
