Heh, I skipped the Mall fireworks for the same reason, and I live nowhere near you. There was a really bad thunderstorm today so God hates America.
My guess is that Ozy is sitting on his hat.

You are absolutly right, she must take it off."Butterface" is too kind, it implies that the rest of her looks okay. The confederate flag makes anything ugly. DX
"The whole problem with the world is that fools and fanatics are always so certain of themselves, but wiser people so full of doubts." <br>-- Bertrand Russell
That's true, also. One thing I hate about living in Texas is that I see it more often than I should."Butterface" is too kind, it implies that the rest of her looks okay. The confederate flag makes anything ugly. DX
Who sleeps shall awake, greeting the shadows from the sun
Who sleeps shall awake, looking through the window of our lives
Waiting for the moment to arrive...
Show us the silence in the rise,
So that we may someday understand...

Try living here. I really don't let it bother me all that much. I'm proud of my heritage and where I come from and all but the groups that the ole confederate battle emblem has been adopted by really leaves a vile taste in my mouth. I am a Southerner and I ain't ashamed of it. Thanks to the damn skinheads and KKK though, we all get lumped together as bigots. Well I'll just keep working extra hard to try and illustrate that hate does not define us.That's true, also. I've read that the flag shown in the South these days is a tweaked variant of the flag of the Confederacy. It's supposed to stand for states' rights, not secession or slavery.
I still hate it.
