Does it count as jumping the shark if the maker plans to basically end the comic soon? The first thing I thought of when I saw this comic was that it might be jumping the shark.
Well, as big a step as marriage is for the people getting married (and their children sometimes), I don't see it having a big impact on the mechanics of O&M. The main differences, I think, will be that they all live under one roof and that each spouse has parental authority over both children.
Speaking of one roof, we have yet to learn whether they plan to get a new residence or use one of their current residences. The latter sounds more practical, especially with the massive Llewellyn estate, but some spouses like to usher in a new stage in their lives by living someplace new to them.

Heh, sudden mental image of Millie trying to resist another bath when her mom is away, and Llewellyn letting her bathe in peanut butter.that each spouse has parental authority over both children.

I'd suggest the Peter Pan brand. Because she won't grow up.

Well, I kinda expected they would one day decide to 'ask the question,' but it still came as a shock. Even though DC claims this was an 'ordinary' way of proposing, it still came as a bit of a shocker to me. Meep...
Oh dear, I never expected this coming. Though I bet some of you did...
