They don't seem to look that similar or related to me. In fact the fox versions are closer. Almost foster-siblings.Human Ozy and Millie seem very similar...almost like they're related. GAH! My brain's on fire with that thought!!! I need a fire extinguisher!!!
The more realistic Ozy and Millie is just super!
As for the more realistic version I agree that they are well done (with the exception of Ozy's eyes) and do not doubt that there is a use for that art. Personally however, Cute > Realistic every time.
Never Mind Pants! All I can say is... Thank GOD he remembered to include pants!
Okay, obviously pants are necessary for the human versions (and they gained t-shirts too) but the foxie lack of clothes is, to my mind at least, just one of the eccentricities that serve to make Ozy and Millie more endearing.

Someone would need to draw me a coloured picture of that. My imagination is letting me down. It DOES sound befitting of Ozy.I know he's a kid, but I think grey would look pretty cool.I'm guessing white or gray... or maybe blackI'd expect Millie to have red hair as a human (and freckles). Q: What colour hair would Ozy have? Blonde?
BTW... is "grey" the way the word is spelled in French? I thought only we Aussies and the British spelled it differently from "gray".
A little more awkward yes, but you get around that with just a dash of creativity. Blocking the view with the arm, fire hydrants, mailboxes, shrubs, tree branches, etc. Or just facing AWAY from the readers. The difference is that Ozy would need to be drawn not looking directly AT her! Amazing how the presence of fur sets the tone, eh?Huh, yeah, I just realized, the human thing *would* make the dancing-in-rain strips a little more, er, awkward, wouldn't it.

OK Pthtptpphhh! You're thinking about it wrong. The Americans spell it "gray", everyone else uses "grey"...
Getting back on topic (human Ozy and Millie) I'm excited about the possibility (however remote) that we might see a few of the other characters as human. I'm not a fan of Avery, but his human counterpart would be an interesting sight.
As for Stephan... oh YEAH! I WANT to see the human version of him! Would he have an overbite?
Isolde piques my curiosity there too..
