Radioactive croûtons. It's some kind of fiendish plot.

Or it might just be a way to create luminescent soup!

Of course it is... it fits with the dialog.

Sounds like Ms. Mudd has a losing case, assuming her client is responsible for the radioactive croûtons (that's how Firefox says it's spelled... huh). :X Trying to think of how that would work anyways...

That's the French spelling. The ^ above letters is a remnant where originally an S followed the letter. So it was 'croston' or 'crouston'.

Dropping into the middle of a conversation without any kind of context always leads to hilarity. Always!

Radioactive croutons...this guy in Ms. Mudds office...he ate one and now he leads a double life as Salad-Man.

...or is that Crouton boy.

Actually they go in soup too.
They can work in soup, in my experience, but it's not something I've heard of people other than me doing (and I only did it as an experiment - a successful one, I guess I should add Image ).

Codecat and me are both Dutch; I'll chalk it up to language/cultural difference then. Maybe croutons are different things in other countries.

Forget all the soups and salads, eating croutons out of the box is where it's at.
See?
