It's rather too belated to consider "Looking at a bug" a current strip, but since the board seemed to be down when it was up, now's as good a time as any to write about it. I certainly admire the detail David Simpson put into the bug itself, although the scale seemed a little odd to me. Also, I would have to agree with Timulty that that but looked far more interesting than "Survivor".

i still find myself doing that kind of thing now and again. Even in my senior year of highschool, i was more interested in catching a grasshopper than making eye contact with my coach... although i was listening to what he had to say. really!

well, i didn't think the dimensions were that far off... although, i guess i didn't pay taht much attention to its size, mainly the eyes because i liked the way Simpson drew those. And as for TV... i don't think there anything of great interest anymore on tv... plus, i think most of nature beats out tv any day... not that i consistantly choose nature over tv, though. Perhaps thats one thing simpson was going for with that strip.

I'm sick of reality TV. Truth be told, I can't wait untill the fad is over.

this season and everyone for the past, oh, i'd say 7 years it seems...

of coarse, its probably been longer, but when your happy with two sonic cartoons, rocko, reruns of mario, and reruns of the muppet show...(*starts daydreaming*) ah... back in my day....
um! wait! NO! ignore that!

but yeah... tv sucks, for the most part. it has gems... but few and far between.

I really wish i had been old enough to comprehend the muppet show... they actually used to have it on NickJR. right after muppet babies. i watch TVLand, but sometimes i forget the fact about Nick now... THEY. SUCK.

Most all the rest of the great sitcoms (or at least the ones that everyone thinks are great) are in their last season this year. The standard for good TV has plummeted these past few years. If According to Jim had started seven years ago, it would have been cancled in a heartbeat. Today it's succeeding (and I like it, myself.)

Ah, well. At least there's a new Sonic the Hedgehog cartoon series of Fox, so TV life doesn't suck all that bad... for now.

from what i've seen of that series, its good too. Not as good as the old sat am one, but maybe if given more time, it may come up to that level.

i have gotten a good bit of flack for saying that i get up on saturdays to see that show... although now there showing twice per saturday, making it easier to sleep in!
