I know this looks bad, but...

Discussion of any of the archived O&M comics, and potential new ones should they ever come about.

Today's strip, is yet another example where D.C. has admitted to swiping the punchline from elsewhere.. It's rather amusing to compare him to Millie at this point in the fact that like Millie's shaving of Ozy, it is sometimes not accidental.

On a side note, I have to admit that Llewellyn has successfully taken all whipped cream-related jokes and made it his own. And the walls are interesting to look at too.. I've pictured similar rock patterns decorating fireplaces, and it suits Llewellyn's home well.

I've always wondered whether this was a conscious lift from Blackadder and now i'm sure, still it's quite good and yes whenever Llwellyn mentions whipped cream, you're guaranteed a laugh.

Mr. Simpson retired that "concepts I accidentally stole" theme pretty quickly, don't you think?

I wouldn't say that necessarily, although it is clear that the theme is less of "concepts I accidentally stole" and more of concepts to which the strip offers tribute.

The Easter Eggs thread seems to fit nicely with this theme, should we start looking for references to other forms of comedy and art within the strips.

Now, what's the convinience of a downloaded set as opposed to the archives?

Let me put it this way.. you can click through a long set of comics with hardly any waiting and without having to log into the internet.. Hmm.. Now you all got me wondering how quickly one can read (or maybe just click through) the entire archive. Any takers? I know it'll slow down at the yearly transitions since the Next button will go to the year view, but besides that, it would be fairly straightforward.

On the other hand, I have grown to appreciate the Search feature whenever I'm online.

I've got a fast computer, loading doen't take long (5 seconds on a slow day). And I don't have to log into the internet because I have this cable modem thing (I don't know what it is specifically. My brother's the computer whiz, not me.)
