I think Millie's pose in the first pannel is realy interesting. Her nose is tillted way basdk but her hair and her checks are orianted downward. It's an interesting contrast.

That time period right there is my favorite art substyle in all of O&M. The characters were balanced just right between fuzzy overcuteness (before the big style change) and today's style, in my opinion. Although today's style is very nice. I'm talking myself into a hole, aren't I?

And yes, I agree with norsenerd. The perspective conveys a lot of emotion, even though the emotions don't actually mean anything here. A very nicely done strip.

Hm. You two have some excellent points.

There might as well be a link to the strip in this thread.

You want a point comment? O-kay..

I was not going to mention it at first since I'd been talking too much elsewhere.. but I had a situation where I felt rather self-righteous about where I stood in chatting on another site.. I refuse to go into details about it, but the result had me resign from participating in a storyline because I felt it was the most appropriate thing to do. Needless to say, I spoke on and on about it and I guess both sides felt self-righteous about it.

The point is, when both sides felt they were doing the right thing and yet did not fully agree with the other person's judgement, it led to lengthy arguments that ended with just more talk and did nothing. Both sides still think they're right, but are willing to admit they see how the other side sees it.. *shrugs* That's good enough to move on..

Why don't you explain that to them?

It's all a matter of taking sides... I don't want to start the argument all over again by pulling in people that had nothing to do with it the first time around. Everyone involved was trying to move on, so I didn't want this to pull people back into it.
