The Complete Ozy & Millie

Now available, according to DCS on the O&M site. I really like the cover. :wag: It's the same artwork for both volumes, btw. Volume one has a tan background though. I could only get the V2 pic for some reason.

Prices: $18.99 for paperback/softcover, $34.99 for hardcover. Prices are for both volumes.

I'm going hardcover. Just not sure when I can though as funds are pretty low at this moment. :(

neat. I'd probably only want the first volume lol

I've always wondered, DCS originally starting compiling the strips into books, and stuck a lot of neat little info in between them, but then after the fifth book or so, she started it over again. I always wondered if the second generation of books had the same info and filler art? Because I would have preferred to have seen the extra stuff that she compiled originally, than extra stuff that she compiled later.

DCS answered this herself a while back. Everything is included. She started over again because the licence with Plan 9 books ran out or something. I would guess these volumes also have everything.

I just checked my finances and it looks like I can afford the first volume. :)

This is like when you've been buying dvds with a couple episodes on each and then they release a dvd set that covers the entire season.

I would buy it because I can't fine my PM book and my Prehistrionics book anywhere! But like you can't because I have no money. Sucks being poor.

My CC didn't have a whole lot on it so I ordered the first volume in hardcover. Will do V2 next payday.

BTW, guess DCS abandoned the "Tome" idea, huh?

Oh, and isn't it ironic that I just gave DCS more money? At least Lulu will SEND me the damn book! LOL!

Also, the more I look at the cover art, the more I like it. O&M look a bit older, not quite teens but no longer children. THIS is the style the new story should be in, not the crap she's been doing lately.

Finally! I held out on buying the other books in the hopes that something like this would come out.

you should have demanded she give you a copy free for her utter lack of professionality!

Yeah. Hell, for that matter she should actually give in to my many (ignored) requests to make an illustrated version of my poem. I'd settle for a free book though.

Did anyone notice how Ozy is looking at Millie? I think he has something on his mind!

As I pointed out, they are neither children OR teens. They look about 12 or thereabouts. IMO anyway. Also, remember that the strip ended with them entering middle school. DCS appears to be aging them accordingly.

As for the artwork, DCS, I've noticed has serious problems in regard to eyelines. She never gets it quite right. Look at my avatar: Locke is looking at Ms. Mudd's nose and she is looking at his eyebrows. Here, Millie is looking at Ozy's eyes and he is looking at her crotch. Bad, Ozy! That's your stepsister!

Anyway, it looks like DCS has officially aged the two and that's probably what we'll see in the new story.

I'm slightly annoyed by the fact that I wasn't the first to notice that. And slightly ashamed that I'd be annoyed at it.
