I would have to agree on Millie, I don't like the way she's drawn. The others are quite good though.

Llewellyn: Way to simple than in the original style, I kinda like the old and more detailed style for llew.
Millie: EWWW, She seriously strayed from her original look and her hair is horrid.
Ozy: I kinda like it but without the fur, it's horrible.
Avery: He still looks the same except the ears and smaller eyes.
Felicia: What? Now she's into punk?

well, I certainly do have to agree with everyone but you about millie looking weird. I like everything else though, realizing that it's not meant to be "O&M style", and thus not giving a damn if it looks the same. Millie just looks too much weird. the way that she's drawn implies to me that she has a different personality. Not so with the others.

The new Felicia matches her character much better, at least it does to me.

I didn't notice this thread and started another one on this subject in the Strips section.

I don't like the way any of them look much. Millie is horrible. DCS also seems to be implying that as she ages, she is less annoyed by "girl clothes". That I DO like.

Ozy is eh. The hat looks stupid and has no holes for his ears something that would be unlikely in an all animal world.

I never liked Felicia so that I hate her look here is mostly just me.

Avery looks OK, as does Lew.

I shudder to think how Mrs. Mudd and the others would look in this style.

what do you mean ages? did DCS say they were aging? because Millie is wearing something that is less mature than her old overalls.

Just a guess. They are no longer in elementary school so the new story will have them in middle school.

I just meant that Millie seems less tomboyish in a skirt and given her normal reaction to such things, it can be taken that she is becoming slightly more mature in regards to her clothing choices.

Also, DCS once said she wants to eventually do a story with the characters in high school. So she does plan on eventually aging them to at least their teen years.

I hear DCS is planning to sell the rights of Ozy and Millie to a big comics syndicate to be drawn by half a dozen improvished art students who long ago sold their creativity and imagination to the company, slaving away, churning out bland strip after strip in a room with minimal natural light and that this redesign is part of the drive to make the comic more newspaper and kid friendly.
