D.C. Simpson coming to Flyover Country

I don't know why I didn't think to mention this here before. As you know, D.C. Simpson occasionally attends furry conventions, selling original artwork and hanging out with other artists and such. Up until now, to my knowledge he's only ever attended conventions local to his home (so, California mostly, he might have been at Midwest Furfest when he was living in Michigan). HOWEVER

This May he will be the Guest of Honor at Ohio's own Morphicon 2008. So anyone who already attends furcons or might be considering going to one this year but lives too far east to justify traveling to a Cali con, now is your chance. Might be your last chance for quite a while, too, now that his comic is ending.

Just thought you might want to know.

They are all things I avoid when I can. Also, conjoined twins. They freak me out.

I go to conventions, only they're music based...and usually called Festivals instead.

hmm... I should go, and experience a fur con to judge whether or not to go to another, but I do not have the funds for it.

Closest one for you would be Anthrocon in Pittsburgh, I think.

that works, but I wouldn't know anyone there =P

I wanted to go there this year but doesn't look like I'll be able to, so maybe next year (and hopefully have a fursuit of Ty Vulpine)

Then I'll just have to go next year and look for the fursuit. I don't really know what your character looks like though, so I need to find that out first >.>
