Llewellyn for President yard signs

Postby Steve the Pocket » Thu Apr 17, 2008 2:04 pm

Yesterday I was listening to "Marzipan's Answering Machine" on homestarrunner.com and I had the notion that a "Bob Statesman for Elected Official" yard sign would be a cool thing for them to sell. Then I realized that they make all their own merchandise themselves so low turnout (as it were) would mean money wasted on their part. But then I remembered that CaféPress does sell yard signs now and since they're print-on-demand, there's no money lost if the public doesn't bite. SO...

Llewellyn yard signs, anyone? I'd put one in my yard. If I had a yard. Which I don't. Because I live in a dormitory.

Yes! I want a Llewellyn for President campaign sign for my front lawn!
oh. Wait. I forgot. I am trying to save up for a down payment on a lunch at Burger King. Never Mind.
If there is one, and if I get some money, I will own it.

Octan: just hang it on the door, no stakes inserted. Simple fix!

Make it big enough, and you could hang it up in the window.

Ooh. I hate passerby. He isn't very open-minded.

You could get a huge banner like they have at those parades and hang it on the side of your building

Sounds intriguing but unfortunately I have more pressing expenses that need attending to. Thanks for the info though.

I would put one in my window XD Who cares what passerby thinks.
One most read all sides to a story before one can even slightly guess the true way of things, there is at least 2 sides to everything, and everything. Even if it goes against what you think, chances are it means that much more for you to understand it

I don't live in Yankland and, as an addition to that statement, I've never been permitted to take part in a democratic process to elect my ruling government.

People who take democracy for granted and parody it like this need a reality-check.

Also, rabid, what sort of system do they have in place where you live?

Ouch... sorry to hear that... but think of it this way, the fact we joke about it in the end shows how important it is to us... and what kind of system do they have where you live?
