O&M Calender idea

Postby TyVulpine » Sun Feb 24, 2008 11:13 pm

I know that DCS does the 12-month calenders, but what about a Strip-A-Day Calender? (Ya know, the 365 day version) There's certainly plenty of strips to cover a year's worth (or combine Saturday and Sunday to one strip, like most calenders do). Just a random idea and suggestion.

I don't think I would buy it.

I would. So many other comics do it, like Far Side, Garfield, Ziggy, etc, and it'd be more income for DCS.

I like my "Thing-A-Day" calender to be something I can share with my classes.

You know. Archaic word of the day, Believe-it-or-not, things like that.

Thusly, whilst I can see the appeal of an Ozy and Millie calender, it wouldn't be something that I would purchase, and I'm a man who has purchased his fair share of O&M merchandise in the past.

Might be a nice new store item, but I personally wouldn't go for it.

It's basically an internet-less man's O&M website. :P

How about a swimsuit calander? Get into that market.

Not a bad suggestion. It kinda puts a bad taste in my mouth though when I consider the month that features Ms. Sakorsky. Talk about a stomach-turner

Ms. Sakorsky
You mean Sorkowitz? Yeah, it's a little hard to picture the lower half of a kangaroo swimsuit. (Rocko the wallaby had trunks, but he's not so big on the bottom.)

I could see one O&M calendar page presenting swimsuits as a kind of joke, except that a previous calendar page had Millie naked in the rain saying, "What's a calendar without naked pictures?"

Yeah. One of the best O&M moments ever.

As for the idea, i'm all for it, only some strips might not sit well with me, like those ones where Jeremy is involved. (I don't know. The faculty is acting like he's the son of the superintendent or the head of the school board of directors.)

Yes that's what I meant. Geez...I should have known I was gonna totally butcher her name.
