Has Ozy ever had a Bath?

Postby Jelly » Tue Dec 04, 2007 5:01 am

Lol, sorry if its wrong to ask this, but I had a bath today and thought about Ozy and Millie and I remembered that I had seen Millie have her bath a lot, but never Ozy.

Does he have baths, or is it just that when Millie shaves him it grows back clean? :-P

There's at least one instance in which he was, after being tarred and feathered. Lemme see if I can find it.

EDIT: http://ozyandmillie.org/d/20010501.html is the start

This topic is weird and you're weird for being a part of it. But aside from typical internet nastiness, everyday activities such as bathing, eating, and breathing are often too boring to be shown in the comic unless its part of a joke or a discussion or if the Great Will of the Macrocosm wills it so.

Nah, baths are whats weird. Sitting in water that full of your dirt and stuff. Eeeeeeew. Showers are more fun! Well, sometimes.

I guess its kinda boring, yeah. Haha, I wonder what bath toys Ozy would have.

An inflatable buddha (Warning: Not a life saving device, just a soul-saving one).

Lol! Hahaha, that would be so weird for Ozy to have that in his bath.

So Buddha is a guy who started a religion? Why would Ozy want that in his bath? I guess its like Moses or something? Or Jesus? Inflatable Jesus? In his bath?

o.o

Lol, I'm not the weird one anymroe   :? :-P

Zen is a school of Mahāyāna Buddhism
Ozy's zen philosophy is drawn from a form of buddhism as far as my lazy and unmotivated research can figure out.

Plus, its a widely believed fact that if you rub the belly of a buddha statue you'll recieve good luck.

Um, that's just reeeeeally creepy. Well, kinda creepy. Lol, if I tried to rub a fat guys belly for good luck my mom would freak out. Also that would be gross. I guess thats why Millie shaves him though?

This topic makes me giggle so much.
Who sleeps shall awake, greeting the shadows from the sun
Who sleeps shall awake, looking through the window of our lives
Waiting for the moment to arrive...
Show us the silence in the rise,
So that we may someday understand...

I think we're far more likely to see Millie in a tub not because she needs them more often, but because she's more physically playful and behaviorally deviant. In other words, her baths are more interesting.

I'm not sure if DCS is still into Buddhism, but I'm pretty sure he never rubs statue bellies.

BTW, when I was little, my mom called me Buddha Belly because of my posture.

Do foxes sweat? I know dogs don't, so if foxes don't either then really they wouldn't have to bath very often. It seems most everyday grime could be brushed out without much problem.
