No, it's good to not let comics go endlessly. 10 years is a good lifespan. It depends on the strip and the author. Sometimes comic strips can still stay funny after decades, Brooh-Hilda being one example. Peanuts did stay good for the first thirty years of its existence. Some might be the exception...
