Here's one...let's see what we get for it.

MILLIE: Do you swear to tell the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth?
AVERY: Sure...Millie's basically nice. Darn! For some reason I can no longer upload images from my computer. And it's not just this site either. I tried ImageShack (to answer your question, Henohenomoheji) and it did the same thing. Funny thing is, I don't think I even clicked the Submit Post button anyway -- after failing the preview tw...

I meant the political jokes he's already done, like Avery speaking Pig-Latin and Millie claiming that getting punished will just "make my approval ratings skyrocket." Things that wouldn't work anymore. Anyway, he'll probably just insert new ones in, although they'll have to be the kind he's doing no...

I had something similar happen. I was working a summer job at my old school and they had allotted 120 hours for me to work. Or so we thought. Then, the second-to-last week, my boss and I both found out there were only 100 hours; the 120 hour figure was for a different job's budget.

But then!....

I'm thinking maybe David had planned for Millie to have to adult parents, but then realized (1) he hadn't drawn Mr. Mudd into the strip yet, and (2) there were enough characters already, and having two Mudd parents would be if anything redundant. I wouldn't really be surprised if, somewhere in David...

Easy choice for running mate: Ms. Mudd. And then of course there'd be a storyline about how everyone thinks she's a terrible choice because she's a lawyer. It would be great, but I imagine David has something else in mind.

I'm hoping this story somehow links up with the Isolde-is-a-reporter i...

Yeah, I can imagine that if "O&M" ever gets syndicated it will seem very different. First of all, it would have to start over at the beginning and skip over all the political jokes, which wouldn't make sense anymore. It would be interesting to see if he could weave subtle satire like the kind he has...
