I'm using a Duron. I guess it's fine? I mean if you compared to a Pentium 3 which I think would be its proper competition. I get a laptop for Christmas and it's an AMD, but I didn't care what processor it had because I totally got it for $400 only on black friday. Duron is basically a tuned down At...

The good thing is we normally just need to replace the bad capacitors and it will work fine. 2. Have you checked for Spywar...

Well, I've got 32 gigs of space with 52% or 16.something free. I've already formatted it several times before installing XP. I've also defragged it and scanned once more. Still nothing comes up... It's as if there's nothing wrong, but I'm getting explorer.exe/blue screen errors everywhere.

Re: Computer Woes

Okay, you may or may not have noticed that I'm very rarely around, even less than before when I just lurked. However, there's actually a reason for it, and I figured this would be a good place to ask about my issue. See, I just built a rather crappy computer from spare parts I had lying around in a...

And thus the Blur smacked his forehead. ;)

If I could do that, I'd have done it long ago. Nevertheless, this seems to be more of a Windows error than anything. I mean, the thing runs Linux fine, but I need Windows for many things.

From what I've gathered from reading comments on the books, they are written much like the Discworld series, then?

I've never seen the movie or read the books.

Actually, most of our Armored forces carry Glock 9mm or some such handgun. Although they may claim that they carry the standard, many soldiers just go "the heck with it," and grab a nice, trusty pistol.

By the way, I can't wait to see more of this, Roo. Right up meh alley!

Well, there's a Blender Noob-to-Pro site somewhere that I used to learn. I seriously could model better in Blender after one day than in 3DSmax after a month of doing those tutorials.

And 2.44 has subsurface scattering!
