And then, fortunately, it was December, and I didn't have to worry about how to handle the uniform situation for a few weeks.

POPULARITY DOESN'T REALLY WORK THAT WAY.I suppose this was the major pro-uniform argument, from a nerd standpoint.

Stephen's entire point as a character was that DCS was jealous of rich geeks. I miss the geeks-shall-inherit-the-earth triumphalism of the dotcom boom era. I never thought I would, but it gave me a lot of material for Stephan; he's a lot harder to write for, without that. I actually like the way the...

Inconsistent characterization?Remember what I said earlier about Avery being self-aware? I guess it has its limits.

Actually, I think she looks pretty good in her uniform. Like a small, female, vulpine version of the guitarist from AC/DC.

The name "North Harbordale Elementary" is a combination of the names of the three elementary schools I attended: Northgate, Harbor Heights, and Artondale.

Have fun wherever you go. Except at a funeral home. That's generally frowned upon.

You know you can use IRC without installing it, right? You just need to click the Webchat button at the top of the page and then click Java chat applet. Granted, you will need Java.I'd be there if my comp wasn't broken and my dad would be mad if I installed an IRC program.
